As you will see my work varies in material and mediums. I have always been inspired by landscape but i do not call myself a landscape painter rather an observer of nature. 

After 20 years of university teaching, and 20 years in the design industry I have return to my studio full time. 

In 2023 I moved with my husband to a small village in Scotland, which is a big change from the city life in Philadelphia Pa.We moved to be near our daughters and family and to retire by the sea. Being a stone through away from the sea I have been totally inspired by the horizon and the daily changes in the sea and sky and the spaces inbetween.

My work will continue to change like the weather but it will always remain based on observation, drawing and my interpretation. My most recent work captures the essence of atmosphere by the sea.
